The Vale Clinic, founded in 1986 by Liz Smith, provides an effective and professional physiotherapy service to patients not only in the Vale of Belvoir area but also within a catchment area which includes, for example, Nottingham, Keyworth, Melton Mowbray, Grantham and Leicester.

The Vale`s team consists of eight chartered physiotherapists each with a minimum of 5 years post registration experience and all registered with the Health Professions Council.At the Vale Clinic we treat a wide variety of injuries and conditions. We also believe in the preventative approach to physiotherapy wherever possible - prevention being better than cure. For example, after a particular problem has been treated, then the patient is taught exercises to carry out at home in order to reduce the risk of recurrence.

As a respected, established clinic we receive many referrals from consultants and G.P's.- but patients can, and frequently do, self refer. Please contact us direct to discuss your needs or to arrange an appointment.At the Vale we pride ourselves on treating our patients with friendly, professional care.


The hours of opening are:
  • Monday 8.15 am to 8.00pm;
  • Tuesday 8.15am to 5.30pm;
  • Wednesday 8.30am to 8.00pm;
  • Thursday 8.15am to 5.30pm;
  • Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm;
  • Saturday 10.00am to 1.00pm.
